引言《老人与海》是美国小说家欧内斯特·米勒尔·海明威(1899—1961)最著名的作品之一,是关于一位老年古巴渔夫,与一条巨大的马林鱼在离岸很远的湾流中搏斗的故事,它奠定了海明威在世界文学中的突出地位,对于他1954年获得诺贝尔文学奖也起了重要作用。自20世纪90年代以来,随着生态批评的思潮不断高涨,许多学者从生态理论的角度对海明威的《老人与海》进行了研究和评论。本文拟从生态审美和生态正义的角度来探析小说中“老人”的困境的根源,从中分析海明威创作过程中透视出来的生态意识,以及呼吁当下深陷生态危机困境的我们反思,“在人类如何不当的占有环境方面,我们比梭罗知道的多得多,但我们为改变这种状况所做的却很少。”~([1])
