Calligraphy is a static art. Static is a significant feature of calligraphic works in the form of art. It is also a distinctive feature of its cultural connotations. Static is also a category of research in ancient Chinese traditional philosophy. Ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu believes that static is an important way of view of Taoism. Everything has its own implication, while static is the problem that must be considered in the study of calligraphy and the important principle. The traditional Chinese philosophical schools have the most profound influence on the Confucian Taoist ideological system. Both the Confucianism and the Taoist ideology in these two systems share a common topic - harmony between man and nature. The idea of unity between man and nature is that man and nature are one and the highest manifestation of human social civilization and the highest and unpredictable artistic realm in calligraphy.
