2005年10月12日到10月23日,中华人民共和国第十届全国运动会在南京成功召开。作为此次“十运会”的东道主,江苏广电总台承担了此次“十运会”主要赛事的转播及新闻发布等任务。发射部承担着江苏广电总台7套中、短波节目的发射任务,是安全播出的最后一道环节。此次“十运”期间的我们的工作不仅关系到本台节目的安全播出,更关系到此次“十运会”转播
