棉花种子传带棉花枯萎病菌和多种引致种子腐烂以及幼苗根病的镰刀菌。检测棉种傅带的镰刀菌种类和带菌率是棉花种子健康检验的主要内容,可以为种子质量标准化,苗期病害防治和植物检疫提供重要依据。棉花种传镰刀菌的检验贯用琼胶基培养检验法和幼苗症状检验法,近年籍秀琴等提出一种选择性琼胶培养基适于检测棉枯萎病菌。作者使用更简便的吸水纸培养检验法,亦获得良好的结果,本文介绍该检验方法和主要镰刀菌的鉴别特征。
