陈香梅(Anna Chenault)女士,祖籍广东南海县,1925年出生于北京书香门第。陈香梅在北京上小学,1941年考入岭南大学。1944年开始在中央社昆明分社工作。在一次采访中与美国援华抗战名将“飞虎队”队长陈纳德相识、相爱。婚后随丈夫定居美国,加入美国籍。1960年参加共和党,从此踏入政界。1960年和1968年两次帮助尼克松竞选总统,从而使她在政坛上引人注目。曾被美国政府委派担任联合国文教委员会委员、航委会顾问、总统出口委员会副主席等职务,现任美国国际合作委员会主席。近20年
Anna Chenault Ms. Anna, native of Nanhai, Guangdong Province, was born in 1925 in Beijing. Chen Xiangmei elementary school in Beijing, 1941 admitted to Lingnan University. 1944 started working in the Central Branch of Kunming. In an interview with the U.S. aid to China’s war of resistance against Japan “Flying Tigers” Capt. Chennault acquaintance, fall in love. Married with her husband settled in the United States, joined the United States. In 1960, he joined the Republican Party and stepped into politics. In 1960 and 1968, he twice helped Nixon to run for the presidency so that she would attract attention in the political arena. He was appointed by the U.S. government as a member of the United Nations Cultural and Educational Commission, an adviser to the Commission, and a vice president of the President’s Export Council.
