我铅锌矿西台化矿鼓风炉过去是用水冷却,所用的冷却水是硬水(总硬度为3.54毫克当量/升)。为了减少结垢,延长水套寿命,采用小温差大水量的方法,水套出水温度仅40~50℃。这就带来耗水量大、热损失大、焦耗高、炉温低、床能力低等一系列问题。为了提高鼓风炉的生产能力,决定采用汽化冷却技术。一九七五年十一月起组织力量,从讨论方案、参观考察、设计到制作安装工程(见图)完工,仅用了半年多时间。一九七六年七月一次试车成功。经过投产以来的实践,证明这项设计是正确的,制作安装的质量是高的,运行情况也是良好的。汽化冷却主要技术参数为:
My Lead-Zinc Mine The Xitaihua blast furnace used to be water-cooled. The cooling water used was hard water (a total hardness of 3.54 meq / l).
