中日韩三国自上世纪九十年代以来经贸关系一直保持着高速发展态势,在第三国市场上的竞争关系也变得日趋激烈。然而由于三国经济体制和运营方式的差异较大,不同产业之间竞争力的变化也不尽相同。本文利用建立在美国市场上的出口相似性指数(ESI)分析了东北亚地区中日韩三国的贸易竞争关系。首先考察了1992年到2014年中日韩三国整体出口相似性指数的演变,然后进一步比较了初级产品和工业制成品的出口相似度,通过出口相似性指数的变化来分析中日韩三国产业竞争力的演变。
Since the nineties of the 20th century, the economic and trade relations between China, Japan and the ROK maintained their rapid growth momentum. The competition in the third country market has also become increasingly fierce. However, due to the large differences in the economic systems and modes of operation in the three countries, the competitiveness of different industries varies in different ways. This article analyzes the trade competition between China, Japan and the Republic of Korea in Northeast Asia using the Export Similarity Index (ESI) based on the U.S. market. First of all, it examines the evolution of the similarity index of the overall export of China, Japan and South Korea from 1992 to 2014, and then compares the export similarity of primary products with that of manufactured goods further.
