湖北光周期敏感雄性核不育(HPSGMS)水稻在长日照条件下表现完全雄性不育而在短日照条件下表现可育。初步的研究认为该性状受一对隐性主效核基因控制。本文的目的是探求利用该性状的途径和方式方法。讨论了基于光敏核不育性的一个新的杂交制种程序(两系法)及其优越性。提出了一个新的育种体系(联合选育体系),应用一个利用光敏核不育仕的轮回选择性序进行群体改良并同步选育光敏核不育系和恢复系(品种)。认为光敏核下育性对杂交稻生产和水稻育种都有极大价值。
Hubei Photoperiod-Sensitive Male Sterile (HPSGMS) rice showed full male sterility under long-day conditions and fertile under short-day conditions. Preliminary studies suggest that the trait is controlled by a pair of recessive major nuclear genes. The purpose of this paper is to explore ways and means to utilize this trait. A new hybridization program (two lines method) based on photosensitized nuclear sterility is discussed and its advantages are discussed. A new breeding system (combined breeding system) was proposed. One group using cyclotsequence of photosensitive nuclear sterile sterility (CMS) was selected for group improvement and photosynthetic male sterile lines and restorer lines (cultivars) were selected synchronously. It is considered that phototrophic nuclear fertility has great value for hybrid rice production and rice breeding.
