社会和谐是中国特色社会主义的本质属性,是国家富强、民族振兴、人民幸福的重要保证。高校是一个小社会,高校的和谐在某种程度上影响着整个社会的和谐。高校工会作为广大校职工自愿结合的群众性自治组织,在新的历史时期,应当与时俱进,最大限度地发挥能动性,自觉担负起维护高校和谐的责任。完善高校民主管理制度,构建高校工会调解机制,及时化解高校内部矛盾,维护高校稳定和谐,已成为高校工会工作的新内容。
Social harmony is the essential attribute of socialism with Chinese characteristics and an important guarantee for the prosperity of the country, the rejuvenation of the nation and the happiness of the people. Colleges and universities are a small society. The harmony of colleges and universities affects the harmony of society as a whole. As a mass autonomous organization voluntarily combined by a large number of school staff and workers, trade unions in colleges and universities should, during the new historical period, advance with the times, maximize their initiative and consciously assume the responsibility of safeguarding the harmony of colleges and universities. Improving the system of democratic management in colleges and universities, establishing a mechanism for the mediation of trade unions in colleges and universities, timely resolving the internal conflicts among colleges and universities and maintaining the stable and harmonious university has become a new element in the work of trade unions in colleges and universities.
