对182名职业性暴露于锰的电焊工人和154名无锰及其它重金属暴露史的对照工人进行健康状况调查,发现暴露组神经系统改变发生率为26.96%,比数比(OR)为2.62,并且锰暴露年数与神经系统改变呈剂量──反应关系。暴露组上呼吸道慢性炎症发生率为39.01%,OR为2.02,血红蛋白和白细胞总数也显著高于对照组。提示职业性暴露于锰的作业工人可发生神经系统、呼吸系统和造血系统损害。
A survey of 182 workers exposed to manganese for occupational exposure to manganese and 154 workers without a history of exposure to manganese and other heavy metals found that the incidence of neurological changes in the exposed group was 26.96% and the odds ratio (OR) was 2.62, and the number of years of exposure to manganese and the nervous system showed a dose-response relationship. The incidence of chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract in the exposed group was 39.01%, OR was 2.02, and the total number of hemoglobin and leukocyte was also significantly higher than that of the control group. Prompt occupational exposure to manganese workers can occur nervous system, respiratory and hematopoietic system damage.
