大黄鱼属石首鱼科、黄鱼属。分布于黄海南部至雷州半岛以东海域,分岱衢族、闽-粤东族和硇洲族三个地理种群,为暖温性和集群洄游鱼类。大黄鱼目前已成为我国主要的海水鱼类养殖品种,主要集中在闽、浙两省,年产量约为5万～6万吨,目前在浙江沿海养殖的大黄鱼多数为闽-粤东族,抗寒 Large yellow croaker stone head fish, yellow croaker.
