超导同步回旋加速器作为具有超小型结构、造价更低廉、更适用于医院环境使用的新一代质子治疗系统的核心装置,相对于现有的质子治疗系统,可以降低癌症的质子治疗费用、惠及大众健康,有巨大的经济效益与社会效益,因此日益得到各国先进加速器研究机构及高端医疗设备研发企业的重视。我们也已经开展了用于质子治疗的能量为230 MeV超导同步回旋加速器的关键物理问题及核心技术研究,这里简要介绍超导主磁铁的基本结构、超导系统设计的初步结果以及磁场分布与束流动力学。
