In the 1950s and 1960s, many aspects of Taiwan seemed absurd. For example, the book of the famous scholar Marx Weber was detained at the airport because “his name is also called Marx.” The French writer Zola’s book was banned. Because his name has a “left” character. Capitalism has the chance to escape catastrophes. The policemen think this is a book that makes people fortune.
