本文立足于中国新世纪文坛所出现的“文学第三世界”与“底层文学”两个相互关联的概念以及与其相关的文学现象,考察与辨析它们各自的理论渊源及其出现之时所处的社会语境与文化缘由,分析在当前中国市场化、商品化的文化语境中底层文学与文学第三世界给新世纪中国文学带来的种种新的质素与文学可能性,并进一步揭示了其理论倡导与创作实践中所出现的某些偏差与不良倾向。
