After reading the photo of Huangpu Magazine, No. 3, 1992, page 27, a Japanese plane was dragged down with smoke and attracted my deep memories of the battle scenes of that year. In the autumn of 1936, I was 19 years old and admitted to Nanjing Air Defense School for the first time in the school. In the following year after the “July 7 Incident”, in mid-August, I was even ordered to occupy positions near Wuzhao Gate of Guanghua Gate and to defend the air defense tasks of the National Government, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Air Terminal and power plants. In September, the position was transferred to Shihmen Habitat outside Guanghua Gate. Therefore, it is far away from the residents for guarding and confidentiality. One day in October, nine heavy bombers of the Japanese Kigarjin Air Corps flew from the direction of Zijin Mountain towards the terminal. Each of the guns was immediately ready for shooting and was only issued a commander-in-chief to issue firing orders. Be the enemy over the top of the bell bells (firing signal) a ring, four guns Qi Fa. I saw the blast point, an enemy plane caught fire, the nose dragged down thick smoke, located near the terminal. Other enemy planes, hurriedly bomb, embarrassed flight.
