词汇是语言的基本单位,是语言得以表达思想的基石,在整个语言体系中居于中心位置。在英语习得与教学中,词汇占据基础性地位,成为专家学者们研究的热点。语义学研究为词汇教学开启了一扇宽敞大门,众多语义学理论被应用于词汇教学中,克服了传统英语教学诸多弊端。本文从语义学研究角度出发,结合词汇特点,将语义学中意义类型理论、语义场理论、语境理论应用于词汇教学,探索切实有效的词汇教学方式。
Vocabulary is the basic unit of language, is the cornerstone of language to express ideas, living in the center of the language system. In English acquisition and teaching, vocabulary occupies a fundamental position, becoming a hot spot for experts and scholars. Semantic research opens up a broad door to vocabulary teaching, and many semantic theories have been applied to vocabulary teaching, overcoming the drawbacks of traditional English teaching. Based on semantic research and combined with the characteristics of vocabulary, this paper applies meaning type theory, semantic field theory and context theory in vocabulary teaching to explore effective and effective vocabulary teaching methods.
