采用水力学数理模拟的方法,研究了不同尺寸和安装位置的控流装置对马钢薄板坯连铸中间包流动特性的影响。结果表明:中间包在无流动控制时,存在明显的短路流及较大死区;西马克公司提供的控流装置其平均停留时间小,死区较大,实验效果并非最佳;改进后的优化方案使中间包内示踪剂开始响应时间为无控流装置下的2倍多,平均停留时间由2 64. 0s增加到3 0 1 4s,死区由无控流装置的2 5. 54 %降低到1 5. 3 9% ,中间包的冶金性能有了明显改进。
The effects of flow control devices of different sizes and installation positions on the flow characteristics of continuous casting tundish in Masteel were studied by means of hydraulics mathematical simulation. The results show that there is obvious short circuit flow and large dead zone in the tundish without flow control. The flow control device provided by SMS company has small average residence time and large dead zone, and the experimental result is not optimal. The improved The optimized scheme makes the response time of the tracer in the tundish begin to be more than twice that of the control without flow control device, the average residence time increases from 264.0s to 3104s, and the dead zone is controlled by 2.54% Reduced to 15.39%, the metallurgical properties of tundish has been significantly improved.
