As an anthropological film, “Sidek Balak” is superficially regarded as a struggle against the Japanese army by the Seidic people, but in essence it shows the two “fields” Irreconcilable contradictions and antagonisms. The courage and conviction that he did not fight dead himself to do his own thing is the Sadek’s guarded respect for the belief of the ancestral souls and his instinctive resistance to the Western civilization. Directed by modern civilization, director Wei Teh-sheng has stood in the narrative position of the entire movie belonging to the “barbarians” of the Saudis. The rebellion of such a position also clearly expresses his attitude toward modernity Reflection.
