The domestic academic circles have rich research achievements on Morrison. However, most of them criticize their works through various schools of criticism. Few literatures examine the writer’s market expansion and acceptance from the perspective of cultural studies. This article takes the cooperation between Tony Morrison and Oprah Winfrey as the object of study, investigating Morrison’s production and acceptance beyond the elite culture, demonstrating that Morrison not only opens up Market, diversifying the audience of its readers and overcoming the dual reader issues of black writers. This also has some enlightenment significance for the development of our country’s classical works in the cultural market. Especially in the context of Mo Yan’s winning the Nobel Prize for Literature, how to strengthen the interaction between reading and the general public is a topic that we should pay close attention to.
