Shanyou Guang 12 Shanyou Guang 12 is a cross combination of wild-type Zhenshan 97A as the female parent and Guang-12 as the male parent in the Rice Research Lab of Guangxi Agricultural College. Guang 12 is derived from the 34th line of the IR8 // Japanese japonica / Taiwan / Indica / IR24 / IR1317 hybrid progeny and is a cross between indica and japonica offspring.
