According to Gallup’s annual survey of various industries in the United States, nurses score the highest in integrity and ethics, while car salespeople are the most distrusting group. Gallup conducted telephone interviews with 1,015 people over the age of 18 in the U.S., of which 79% gave nurses a “high” or “high” score. Of the 21 occupations surveyed, the No. 2 primary school teacher rated 73%, one percentage point higher than the pharmacists and military officers.
