In recent years, the occurrence of rice sheath blight in Yixing significantly increased, especially in 2009, the most serious. Through systematic monitoring of rice sheath blight and field investigation, the author put forward the prevention and cure countermeasures of rice sheath blight while analyzing the reasons of its recurrence.
