目前全国各地京剧团上演现代戏已经开始形成了高潮。本期特将各地演出情况加以简单介绍。京剧要不要演现代戏,能不能演现代戏,怎样才能演好现代戏等问题,多年来一直有争论,这需要经过不断实践和充分讨论才能取得比较一致的意见。为了有助于深入探讨问题,本期还把去年下半年以来各地报刊发表的讨论文章中有关材料择要介绍,以供参考。四月二十七日,本刊编辑部邀请了几位参加京剧编演现代戏实际工作的同志,座谈京剧编演现代戏的问题。出席座谈会的有任桂林、薛恩厚、张梦庚、袁世海、李紫贵、郑亦秋、刘吉典等。座谈会由张庚主持。现将座谈会上的部分发言整理发表于下,题目都是编者加的。
At present, Peking Opera troupe staged a modern opera all over the country has begun to climax. This issue will be introduced around the performance of a brief introduction.
