孙席珍（１９０６－１９８４）与赵景深（１９０２－１９８５）从青少年时期即相过从，早年在天津一起参加“绿波社”，以后有聚有散，信札往来，一生中结下了深厚的友谊。赵老长席珍四岁，逝世于１９８５年１月７日，席珍于１９８４年１２月３１日去世，一后一前，只隔七天工夫，距今已有十五个年头。今承赵世兄易林先生见还昔日席珍给景深教授的书信十则，我又拣出赵老的来函六则（另外，双方都有更多的信在“文革”浩劫中失去），按时间顺序排列，展现其内容，除了兄弟般的关爱，生活上的互助外，在学科业务探讨上，也相互帮助，支持，在思想认识上，又自觉回顾，相互勉励，促进，给后人深长的启迪，因加少量简注，借《新文学史料》一角公之于世。１９９９．５．２．杭州 Sun Xi-zhen (1906-1984) and Zhao Jingshen (1902-1985) went through the adolescent period and joined the “Green Wave Society” together in Tianjin in the early years.
