Objectives To evaluate feasibility, safety and clinical significance of the modified method for trans-catheter closure of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) with Amplatzer duct occluders. Methods Sixty children with PDA were divided into 2 groups. Group A consisted of 27 children (12 males, 15 females, aged at 4.6±2.9 years), and group B 33 children (13 males, 20 females, aged at 4.9±3.3 years).
