Objective: To investigate the expression of NR4A2 in ovarian epithelial tumor and its clinical significance. Methods: Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of NR4A2 protein in 39 cases of ovarian epithelial carcinoma, 28 cases of borderline ovarian epithelial tumor, 27 cases of benign ovarian epithelial tumor and 17 cases of normal ovarian tissue. The relationship between NR4A2 protein and clinicopathological parameters Relationship. Results: The positive rates of NR4A2 protein in ovarian epithelial carcinoma, borderline ovarian epithelial tumor, benign epithelial ovarian tumor and normal ovarian tissue were 53.8% (21/39), 25.0% (7/28), 7.4 % (2/27), 5.9% (1/17). The positive rate of NR4A2 protein in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in borderline ovarian epithelial tumor tissues, benign ovarian epithelial tumor tissues and normal ovarian tissues (all P <0.05). Although the positive rate of borderline ovarian epithelial tumor was higher than that of benign ovarian epithelial tumor and normal ovary, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). The positive expression rate of benign ovarian epithelial tumor was higher than that of normal ovary group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). In epithelial ovarian cancer, the positive rate of NR4A2 protein increased with the increase of surgical staging (P <0.05), but not with pathological grading and lymph node metastasis and origin (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The expression of NR4A2 in ovarian epithelial carcinoma was significantly higher than that in the surgical staging, suggesting that NR4A2 may be involved in the development of ovarian cancer.
