顾城客死激流岛,国内曾哗然一时,然而仅限于小报上生活细节的叙述,此后便了无声息。理论家不置一词:仿佛事已如此,何须再说。刘震环先生也只是说:“让人无法悼念”,(《英儿》编后)或许,人们就是这种心理,不愿再说。不过,我们认为顾城现象是一种存在,应本着实事求是的精神对他进行研究。一个年轻人,冲上诗坛,转而从国内跑到国外求发展,结果,好比一股刚刚露出地面的汩汩清泉很快消逝了。这诗泉是怎样消逝的呢?倘能从作品及创作思想研究一下,这对文学界是有益的,对于年轻的文学工作者尤有裨益。
