陶瓷激光器在高掺杂、大尺寸和复合结构设计等方面有着特殊的优势,具备实现高能、高光束质量激光器的潜力。研究了上海硅酸盐所提供的新型国产Nd:YAG陶瓷激光材料的激光输出性能,对比了陶瓷激光棒与单晶激光棒的储能特性,通过主动和被动调Q两种方法分别实现了闪灯泵浦陶瓷脉冲激光器,获得了重频1~20Hz可调,单脉冲百毫焦量级的输出,峰值功率近10MW。验证了陶瓷激光介质在高能激光领域的应用,对大能量、短脉冲陶瓷激光器进行了初步的探索和研究。
Ceramic lasers have special advantages in high-doping, large-size and composite structure designs, and have the potential to achieve high-energy, high-beam quality lasers. The laser output performance of a new domestic Nd: YAG ceramic laser material provided by Shanghai silicate was studied. The energy storage characteristics of the ceramic laser rod and the single crystal laser rod were contrasted. Two methods of active and passive Q adjustment were used to achieve flash Lamp-pumped ceramic pulse laser, access to a re-frequency adjustable 1 ~ 20Hz, single pulse hundred milliwatt output, the peak power of nearly 10MW. The application of ceramic laser medium in high-energy laser was verified, and the preliminary exploration and research on large-energy, short-pulse ceramic laser were carried out.
