Japanese writer Anno Public Housing won the postwar literary prize with the short story “Red Cocoon”, thus laying a solid foundation for his contemporary literary history in Japan. This article will analyze the outlet and choice of human being in the alienated world set by the author through the interpretation of “Red Cocoon” and try to explore the “avant-garde existence” of the “avant-garde artist” in his works Concerns and Reflections on Important Propositions.
