本文研究痴呆老年人在社区中的生活现状。调查对象包括88名痴呆老年人和1627名在同一地区生活的其他老年人。痴呆老年人以女性为多,他们在家庭中的地位明显低下,并较少参与社会交往。多数人的生活来源依赖于他人,医药自费。1/3以上感到医药费对他们来说是个沉重的负担。更多的痴呆老年人由于经济困难,交通与行动不便感到看病困难。痴呆老年人大多在家务劳动、日常生活和经济上需要别人的帮助,多数认为这种帮助还够。但是仍有1/5的痴呆老年人对"一旦生活不能自理是否有人照顾他们"有后顾之忧。痴呆老年人最主要的照料者为其子女,其次是配偶,42.0%的痴呆老年人除痴呆以外患有至少一种慢性疾病。26.1%1年内摔倒2次以上。
This article studies the current status of dementia elderly in the community. The survey included 88 dementia seniors and 1,627 other elderly living in the same area.
