A recent report said we spent an average of two hours and 40 minutes a day looking at smartphones. That does not mean calling, but using some applications and browsing the web. Spend time staring at anything. Check emails at restaurants, take photos when food arrives, search messages while conversing with others, and focus more on reading rather than talking. It’s not a secret that the obsession with smartphones has affected our lives. However, nothing can be more critical of the phenomenon than the short video “I forgot to bring the phone up” on Youtube. Although it was uploaded for a few days, this video has been viewed over 10.5 million times.
