Increasing the wear resistance of rod mills and ball mill liners has important national economic implications for the mining industry. Only at the beneficiation plant in the Krivoy Rogo mine consume about 6,000 tons of steel a year. There are two ways to improve liner life: (1) make new models of steel, cast iron, and other materials; (2) look for new cross-section liners.
