AIKE DELARCO, SHANGHAI2016.9.8-2016.10.9 Hu Yun further explored the deconstruction of history in Shanghai’s second solo exhibition, Narrative Disease, and how it plays in our public and private life Narrator’s important role. Hu Yun seemed to quite enjoy epic adventures, notably the delights of Western explorers and naturalists in the 19th and early 20th centuries, such as Robert Stirling Clarke or John, who had conducted large-scale expeditions in northern and central China Reeves’s story. Most of the exhibition’s most compelling works from the artist’s extensive history of those studies and excavations, “Untitled”
