Objective To isolate and identify the anthraquinones from Swertia mileensis. Methods Ninety-five percent ethanol extraction was carried out by silica gel column chromatography. UV, IR, MS, 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopic methods were used to determine the chemical structure.
