Northwest Water Science and Technology Network eighth session in October 1996 8 to 10 held in Jiuquan City. This executive chairman unit Gansu Provincial Water Institute hosted the meeting. 21 delegates from 13 units including the Northwestern Water Science Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Pastoral Water Science Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Inner Mongolia Water Science Institute, the Yellow River Hydrology Research Institute and the Yellow Science and Technology Foreign Affairs Bureau attended the meeting.
