几十年前,利用气囊的浮力悬浮在空中、利用动力装置来推进的飞艇曾一度垄断“空中旅行”。1910年,德国的齐柏林飞艇公司开办了世界上最早的飞艇定期旅客航空业务,到1938年共建造了113艘大型飞艇。但是,由于“兴登堡”号飞艇的爆炸惨祸以及飞机的迅速发展,飞艇逐渐被人们冷落、遗忘。然而,当飞机耗费大量燃料、排放大量废气和发出噪音越来越令人难以忍受时,飞艇又引起了人们的注意。
Decades ago, the use of airbags buoyancy suspended in the air, the use of power units to propel the airship once monopolized “air travel.” In 1910, the German Zeppelin company opened the world’s earliest airship scheduled passenger aviation business.
