西方(批判)传播政治经济学(CPEC)学派,属于马克思主义左翼。本文采取纯文本解读的策略,通过对10篇英文文献的概括、比较、评论,探究这一领域最新的理论动态。这些文献覆盖面广,囊括了受众商品理论、新闻业的政府补贴、新媒体、经济危机、马克思主义与CPEC、理论史、地缘政治、新自由主义等一系列议题。文献展现出该学派深厚的马克思主义根基,特别是对马克思批判传统的继承性这些。但是,如何运用政治经济学的分析范式,深入研究马克思主义的传播观,为我所用、为今日中国媒体改革所用,仍是摆在我们面前的一道难题。
Western (critical) school of political economy (CPEC), belongs to Marxist left wing. In this paper, we adopt a strategy of plain text interpretation. By summarizing, comparing and commenting on 10 English articles, we explore the latest theoretical developments in this field. These articles cover a wide range of subjects, including a series of issues such as the theory of audience goods, government subsidies in the journalism, new media, economic crisis, Marxism and CPEC, theoretical history, geopolitics and neoliberalism. The literature shows that this school has a deep Marxist foundation, especially for Marx’s criticism of traditional inheritance. However, how to use the analytical paradigm of political economy to study Marxist communication concept in depth is still a problem for us before and for today’s media reform in China.
