我队曾在湛溪矿区某孔施工，孔深600余米发生钢粒卡钻。在处理过程中，将一公锥断在事故钻具上头，锥子硬度大，水眼小，用丝锥打捞无法吃扣，钻头磨削又困难，用摩擦式母锥顺利打捞成功。去年在涌山矿区9号孔，孔深800余米发生键槽卡钻，在处理过程中又将一φ75毫米母锥断在事故钻具上头，仍采用摩擦式母锥迅速得到排除。这种母锥经长时间使用证明，除具备一般锥子功能外，并能处理难反的钻具。它具有加工简单、操作方便、安全可靠的特点。
