三氯杀螨醇是一种从60年代起在茶园中使用的杀螨剂，对茶树各种害螨有良好杀螨和杀虫效果，使用较普遍。但由于国际上对茶叶三氯杀螨醉制订的最大残留限量（MRIJ）规定很严。欧洲共同体新规定的MRL为0．1mg/kg，美国规定不能检出（即MRL为0）。而三氯杀螨醇是一种性质非常稳定
