Objective To investigate the expression of cytokines in peripheral T lymphocyte subsets in diabetic patients. Methods Peripheral blood Th1 cells were detected by ELISA in type 1 diabetic patients (group A, n = 63), type 2 diabetic patients (group B, n = 60) and normal subjects (group C, n = 40) Factor gamma interferon, Th2 type cytokine IL-4, Th17 type cytokine IL-17 and regulatory T cell type cytokine IL-10 expression level. Analysis of test results. Results The levels of IFN-γ and IL-17 in group A were higher than those in group C (P <0.01), IL-4 and IL-10 in group A were lower than those in group C C group (P <0.01), IL-17 higher than C group (P <0.01). The level of IL-17 in diabetic patients was positively correlated with IFN-γ and negatively correlated with IL-10 (P <0.05). Conclusion There are different imbalances of CD4 + T cell subsets in T1DM and T2DM patients.
