长白山脚下的吉林临江水电(集团)股份有限公司,5年时间,从无到有,发展成为集水电开发、城乡供水、水产养殖、有色金属冶炼加工、商贸服务等为一体,拥有固定资产3亿元,主营业收入超亿元的企业集团,1996年实现利润3473万元,成为支撑临江财政的“半壁江山”,先后被评为吉林省水利系统先进企业和全国水利系统先进企业。临江水电集团改革与发展的实践证明,借助改革之力,在“两个根本性转变”上下功夫,坚持搞集约化经营,走集团化发展的道路,是水电企业得以在短时间内迅速崛起并保持强劲发展势头的最佳途径。
