Malignant tumors are one of the common diseases that seriously threaten human health. About 3 million people die from cancer each year in the world, and about 1.3 million people die from cancer in our country. Some domestic urban population survey data show that malignant tumors account for about a quarter of all deaths, that is, 1 out of every 4 deaths die from cancer. The maintenance of human life must depend on the various nutrients of food. For a consumptive disease such as a tumor, supplementing reasonable nutrition is even more important. Studies have shown that 5% of patients with malignant tumors are accompanied by malnutrition at the time of diagnosis, and those who die of malignant tumors have an almost 100% incidence of malnutrition. Therefore, the prognosis of malnourished patients is significantly worse than that of well-nourished individuals.
