“守住中国画的底线。”“没有中国画的危机,只有中国画家的危机。”哲人其萎,但他的艺术见解对21世纪中国画的健康发展依然有相当的警醒和启迪。一代大家、新中国美术事业的开拓者之一张仃先生于2010年2月在北京逝世,享年94岁。先生青年时代即以漫画为武器投身救亡运动,1938年赴延安,任教于鲁迅艺术学院,建国后历任中央美院教授、中央工艺美院院长、清华大学教授。一生创作涉及广泛,善于驾驭多种艺术形式,晚年致力于焦墨山水的探索,朴拙沉雄,独树一帜,拓展了中国画笔墨的表现能力,开创了山水画的崭新风格。为纪念先生,我刊本期特邀赵力忠、李兆忠两位专家撰写文章,并刊发张仃先生部分作品,以飧读者。并以此向张仃先生致敬!
“There is no crisis of Chinese painting, only the crisis of Chinese painters.” Although philosophers are wilting, his artistic opinions are still quite alert and enlightening to the healthy development of Chinese painting in the 21st century. One generation, one of the pioneers of the art career in New China, Mr. Zhang Ding died in Beijing in February 2010 at the age of 94. In his youth, he started his life with comics as a weapon and went to Yan’an in 1938 to teach at the Lu Xun Art Institute. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, he successively served as a professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, a dean of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and a professor of Tsinghua University. Life creation involves a wide range, is good at controlling a variety of art forms, later years dedicated to exploration of the Jomo ink landscape, simple and sober, unique, expanding the performance of Chinese painting brushstrokes, creating a new style of landscape painting. In commemoration of my husband, I invited Zhao Lizhong and Li Zhaozhong two experts to write articles during this period and published some works by Mr. Zhang Ding to readers. And to pay tribute to Mr. Zhang Ding!
