我乡于1987年冬,被县文教局定为发展幼儿教育的“示范乡”。当时,全乡12个村中,有5个村办起了幼儿班,每村只有一个班,一名教师,师资水平较低,园(班)房舍破旧,没桌椅。1988年起,乡党委、政府以及全乡群众对幼儿教育工作的地位和作用在认识上有了很大的变化,幼儿教育作为教育事业的一部分开始纳入了乡党委、政府工作的议事日程和乡教育事业的发展规划。乡、村、校逐步配备了幼教干部,建立和健全了幼教管理网络,增强了乡党委、政府的责任感和教育部门的主管意识,使工作有了很大进展。1988~1991年,我乡被评为县幼教工作先进乡;1989~1991年被评为地区幼教工作先进乡;1991年被评为省幼教工作先进乡。
I Township in the winter of 1987, the county Bureau of Education set to develop early childhood education “model village.” At that time, among the 12 villages in the township, 5 villages held preschool classes.
