Objective To analyze the intervention effect of targeted nursing on pneumonectomy patients with lung cancer. Methods A total of 100 patients with lung cancer who underwent pneumonectomy underwent thoracic surgery at Enshi Central Hospital from June 2009 to June 2016 were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 50 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing after operation, and patients in the observation group were given targeted nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The incidence of postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05), and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Targeted nursing intervention can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in patients undergoing pneumonectomy for lung cancer and improve patient satisfaction.
