依据《全国普通高等学校体育课程教学指导纲要》的精神实质,立足具体的教学实践,经过近10年的试验和探讨,总结出了个性和共性杂糅的“五.三”体育教学新模式,即“三结合”、“三自主”、“三互动”、“三自治”和“三开放”。新模式通过构建合理的体育课程结构体系、搭建多样化体育教育平台、创设全新教学内容、建立完善的复合评价体系,充分地体现了新的体育教育理念,它在课程目标、教育模式、教学组织管理等方面与传统课程模式相比均拥有突出的优点,使体育课贯穿大学整个过程。实施4年来收到了很好的效果,不仅全面地提升了教学质量,而且从根本上改变了学生喜欢体育而不喜欢体育课的现象,学生体质状况也得到了大幅度改观,实现大学体育与终身体育的衔接,彻底改变了高校体育课程结构类型单一、狭窄、封闭、缺乏灵活性与针对性的弊端。
