Allegorical poem is a poetic style with dual meanings (metaphor and metaphor). The existing parable poems of Anglo-Saxon period include “Leopard”, “Whale”, “Phoenix” and so on. The tradition of allegorical poetry dates back to ancient Greece, but the direct source of the fable poems of Anglo-Saxon lies in the Bible, which is the successor to the allegory works of later Dante, Landerland, Bunyan and Orwell. The fable literature in our country is also very rich. For example, Li He’s “The Tigress Line” and Guo Moruo’s “Phoenix Nirvana” are examples of allegory poems. According to my humble opinion, Guo Moruo’s “phoenix-like wood” is likely to have been influenced by the fable poem “Phoenix” of Anglo-Saxon.
