2006年以来,郑州市文物考古研究院在郑州市区西北部的河南六合置业有限公司和河南电力工业学校发掘唐墓两座,其墓葬形制保存较为完整,出土有陶器、瓷器、铜器、铁器、木器等珍贵文物,年代分属初唐和中唐两个时期.其中河南电力工业学校所出墓志为研究唐代社会提供了可信的资料.
