《中国文化报》2009年10月22日在世界各国的博物馆和美术馆里,巨幅的历史题材绘画都是承展的骨干和主体。由于我国近代历史多动荡,从清代到现在,自中国开始有公共和私人的博物馆以来,历史题材创作一直没有得到应有的重视。今年是新中国成立60周年,各方面的力量凝聚了起来,国家重大历史题材美术创作工程作品展也面向公众展出。从事历史题材绘画创作,实际上是弥补以前没有做,但非做不可的事情。 China Culture Daily, October 22, 2009 In the museums and art galleries of various countries in the world, huge historical paintings are the backbone and subject of the exhibition.
