“The male leader, female leader ” is the traditional mode of family division of labor, in advocating “equality between men and women ” today, especially the equality of educational opportunities affect women’s unpaid working time in the family investment, is A proposition of theoretical and practical value. The paper uses Probit and Tobit methods to make an empirical analysis of whether or not more education reduces the time spent by unwilling women in the household by using the CHNS 2011 Annual and Householdly Responsible Survey of China Nutrition and Health Survey. The results show that: no matter from the labor force participation rate or from the two dimensions of labor time, receiving more education did not significantly reduce the family unpaid work of women, indicating that the traditional family time allocation pattern of “male leader and female leader” It still shows that accepting more education is not an effective measure to effectively reduce the unpaid work of women’s families.
